In Shalimar's classes, everything you need, including high-quality paints and materials, is provided—just show up! She offers personalized guidance, giving each student individual attention as she moves through the class. The atmosphere is relaxed, with no pre-drawn canvases. The goal is to create a stress-free experience. You’re encouraged to attend multiple sessions, even if you've already taken a beginner class. Registration is first-come, first-served. Come learn from the artist herself!

Beginner - For those seeking comprehensive instruction, we cover color composition, balance, and an introduction to Shalimar's favorite tool—the palette knife. These sessions last ~2 hours and accommodate 10-12 participants. You can repeat this class if you have taken a beginner level before. ($125 per person)

Novice - For those who have previously taken a class with Shalimar or have a basic understanding of painting, these sessions dive deeper into color theory and introduce more advanced techniques. The classes typically last 2.5 to 3 hours and can accommodate 10-12 participants. ($175 per person)

Apprentice - Comparable to the Novice class, but with a maximum of 6 participants, allowing us to explore a wider range of colors and incorporate more intricate details into the artwork. With fewer attendees, each person receives even more personalized attention, enabling us to delve deeper into techniques and finer details. ($275 per person)

Private Sessions - If you can't attend the dates listed below but have a group of 4-6 people and are interested in a private class, we can arrange a 2B level session for you and your friends. Feel free to email us for more details. ($275 per person)
