Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, this painting begins with blue skies that slowly dissolve into a hazy dream. On the left, flowers dance. The Cheshire Cat’s colors peek through, and to the right, the Mad Hatter’s tea party is already underway.
Lately, I’ve found myself wishing I could step into a world like that for a little while, somewhere playful and a little absurd, where I could take a break from the everyday grind. Painting this piece was my way of going there.

Framing
Sold unframed. Handmade wooden frames, locally crafted, are available on request.
Certificate of Authenticity
Every original arrives with a signed Certificate of Authenticity confirming it is one of a kind, never reproduced, and documenting its provenance.

Finished with a protective varnish. Dust gently with a dry microfiber cloth, no water or sprays. Keep out of direct sunlight. Oils can take up to 12 months to fully cure, so avoid placing anything on the surface. Framing is recommended for long term protection.
The Artist
Shalimar Waffa paints in her signature pastelo style, building thick layers of oil straight onto canvas with a palette knife. Meet the artist.
