Your painting begins with a 50% deposit
The price shown is your deposit only, not the full painting price. Checkout collects 50% for your selected canvas size and number of pieces, applied toward your made-to-order Kindred Canvas Set.
Shalimar will send a separate payment link for the remaining balance.
Holiday orders placed by October 31 will arrive or be ready for pickup at our Cary gallery by December 18. We will email you when your piece is ready for pickup.
A painting to share. A connection to keep.
One original floral or abstract painting flows across 3 to 12 canvases. Display the pieces together, or give one to each person you love. Wherever life takes you, each of you holds a piece of the same painting. It is only whole when you are together.
Two payments, thoughtfully timed
Orders over $1,000
Choose a 50% deposit now and pay the remaining balance when your commission is completed and ready to ship or pick up. Your balance payment link will be sent separately, and payment is due before shipment or pickup. You may also pay the balance earlier.
Orders of $1,000 or less
Following your design consultation and final price confirmation, Shalimar will send your balance payment link. The remaining balance is due before painting begins.
The $1,000 threshold refers to the full order total, not your deposit. No remaining balance is collected with this deposit purchase.

Your choice: gallery pickup or shipping
Choose local pickup at our Cary gallery or have your set shipped. The painting price is the same for either option. Choosing pickup does not reduce the price or provide a shipping credit.
If you choose shipping, one package to one address is included. Multiple packages or delivery addresses will incur additional shipping charges. Please discuss your pickup or delivery plans with the gallery team so arrangements and any additional charges can be confirmed.
Your deposit reserves your place and begins your design consultation. Together, you and Shalimar will confirm the painting, colors, final price, and payment timing.
This painting is sold unframed. Handmade wooden frames, locally crafted, are available upon request.
Shalimar Waffa is a nationally recognized artist whose signature Pastelo style — a technique of building rich, thick layers of oil directly onto canvas with a palette knife that transforms raw emotion into timeless work, created to be passed down and treasured for generations.
Every original painting comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Shalimar Waffa. This document confirms the piece is a one-of-a-kind original — never reproduced, never duplicated — and is your assurance of its provenance and lasting value as a collector's work.
Your painting leaves the studio finished with a protective varnish. To dust, simply wipe gently with a dry microfiber cloth — no water, no sprays. Keep the piece out of direct sunlight and high-UV areas to preserve the color over time. Oil paintings can take up to 12 months to fully cure, so avoid placing anything directly on the surface during this period. For long-term protection, framing is recommended.
