In fall 2021 I painted Reflections Under a Rainbow, a collection about my own fertility journey, ten pieces and one final painting for my rainbow baby. Drained is a 4ft by 4ft oil on canvas about the exhaustion that comes from hoping, trying and waiting again and again. It was not easy to paint, but it was honest.
